Rated 1 out of 5 by from Streaky formula. I regret buying this. I usually love Essie polishes but this formula was terrible. I used a white primer as a base coat but I had to put on 3 coats to make the color even. At one coat it just looked horribly streaky. At the second coat I was having second thoughts about continuing because it still looked really uneven. 3 coats were just to thick and polish ended up goopy and dark. The color is still uneven. I can see spots that are lighter at the base of my nails and it's dented because it took quite a while to dry with 3 streaky coats and a white base coat. One day of wear and my nails are already chipped. Back to the store it goes! Cannot wait to take this off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I thought it was a knockoff... I was excited to put this color on my toes, as I LOVE Essie and this color was amazing in the bottle. Alas, just like everyone else, the first coat was a hot mess! I googled the shade just to be sure the store hadn't sold me a knockoff in an Essie bottle (that's how awful it is). Sadly, everyone on here seems to have had the same experience. Dull, streaky, looks like I colored my toes with a marker instead of "high end" polish. Very disappointed. Essie - do not bother responding. The only appropriate response is that you are working to correct this formula that is obviously not on par with your usual quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Streaky and uneven I was so excited to try this color for my vacation to California. It's beautiful in the bottle. I put the white base coat on then 3 coats of the neon purple. It is steamy, dark and some nails are lighter than others! So disappointed. Now I have to pay to have my polished changed before I leave in 2 days. Should have listened to the bad reviews...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great But... I love the color! So juicy and rich in color. Makes me feel like I'm on my way to a Tropical locale. Unfortunately, it was difficult for the manicurist to paint my nails with. It took a couple tries, and a strong will to keep my choice of color for both my toes and fingernails the same. Three coats were used for my "big" toe and fingernails. Didn't want to bother with the smaller toes because I was ready to leave at that point (a.k.a the pedicurist already applied the top coat before I could catch it)...Anyway, if Essie could smooth out the formula for a smooth application, I would definitely give it 5 Stars! It's great, but falls short. Still love Essie nail colour :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gorgeous color but terrible coverage I just bought this and loved the color in the bottle. However, it takes many coats to get consistent color and in the end, it turns out to be very dark - much darker than in the bottle

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Messy, watery, no coverage. I bought fuchsia of art because I loved the color. Also, bought the primer. I put on 3 coats of nail polish and the white primer still shows through. Not neon, just a mess. What a wast of money. Do not buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from streaky, watery This is probably the worst Essie color I have ever tried. It is very streaky and watery when applied. It looks horrible. Once you get 3 coats on, which you will need a minimum of to cover the base coat, it becomes very dark and not like the color in the bottle at all. If you don't use a topcoat it is dull, no shine at all. If this would have been the first bottle of Essie I bought, I never would have bought any more. Wish I could return but can't remember where I bought it.
