Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Colour First of all the colour is absolutely stunning! I literally keep staring at my nails the whole time when I have this polish on ;) It might be my favourite colour essie has ever done :))As for the application: It is a very light colour, so application will be a bit more difficult than applying a darker colour. But I find it to apply very very well for it being so light. On the first coat my larger nails (=thumbs) were a bit streaky, but with the second coat it was fully opaque and not streaky whatsoever. It lasted a good amount of time as well. I am thinking of buying a back up :))

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous colour I finally got my hands on a bottle of go go geisha and the colour is beautiful. The colour is a beautiful nude with a tinge of cherry blossomy purple. It did require three coats to get complete opacity, but that doesn't bother me much. The one thing I will say is that this seems MUCH more like a spring colour than a fall colour... after this wear, I likely won't pick this back up until the spring. Despite this, go go geisha is another Essie stunner!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shade, Good pigment, Little bit streaky I love this colour, works flawlessly with the essie top and bottom coats. Only issue with this colour is that it does go on a little patchy and streaky - I find I need at least 3 coats for a smooth opaque application. At the end of the day, one of my favourite colours by Essie and I'm happy to have it in my collection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very streaky, blotchy application/boring color This color has been so raved about and I liked the color in the bottle so I decided to give it a try. I was shocked at how streaky and blotchy its application is. It required 3 coats to reach a smooth finish but by then it was so thick it just didn't look very nice (I never do 3 coats of anything). And after all that trouble, the color didn't look nice no matter what light I was in. I took it off almost immediately. I never think it looks very nice on others either I've seen numerous swatches. It's just an over marketed and over hyped nail color that looks boring and isn't worth the troublesome application. I own dozens of Essie and other polishes and this one is among the worst. Any color is more flattering on almost anyone than this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite tinted nude! I recently purchased this color at the pharmacy that my husband works at. As someone with darker skin, I have a hard time finding the perfect color. I love neutrals, but they're either too dark or too pink for my darker tone. I tried a few colors on and this was perfect. I found that not only does this color have a beautiful neutral tone, there is also a hint of lavender and I adore it! I will continue to purchase this color and continue searching for others in the essie line! I've already reccommended this color to a few others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Nude Pink I have been searching for a long time a nude pink that compliments my skin tone (light/neutral with yellow/peach undertones). This is the perfect pink for me because it doesn't look like a rosy/pepto bismal/white pink that clashes with my skin tone and makes my fingernails stand out unnaturally. Essie Minimalistic is a little similar, it doesn't have that gray undertone and I felt was a little harder to work with. If my edges by the cuticle weren't completed rounded then it stood out a lot. I find this polish easy to round out near my cuticles so it looks like a professional manicure. I feel that the grayish purple undertone Go Go Geisha has is perfect for everyday wear, no matter what season. I wore this during the Fall and received a lot of compliments from co-workers, so I feel that it is not just a Spring color. It can appear streaky with 2 coats, so 3 coats may be needed for full opacity. But since I have a hard time finding this color in store (I bought 2 backups because I figured it was limited edition since I found it on sale and now can't find it anymore), I now take my time when applying this color and can achieve full opacity with 2 coats if I gently glide the brush over my nail bed and not press hard (so I don't use up a bottle too fast). This color will last on my nails 4 days before chipping. This is great for me because I feel that I have oily nail beds and I wash my hands a lot at work. I hope this color comes back permanently. I bought a very similar color from a high end brand that cost me about $27 and I feel that the quality and dry time is a lot better with Essie and the color was not as unique as Go Go Geisha. That one chipped in two days and took longer to dry even with a quick dry top coat. Go Go Geisha is in my top 5 favorite Essie colors. If I see it again in store I will definitely purchase more backups. If you don't like loud light pinks, I really recommend this pink if you're lucky enough to find it. It is truly the perfect neutral/nude pink. And I own almost 100 polishes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Summer Soft I just bought this because I was looking for a soft pink beige and not sheer, but was disappointed to see it was very light lavender instead. It's a beautiful color, good coverage with 2 coats, but not good for my skin tone. Other than minimalistic, what other color has this coverage (not sheer) in a light pinky beige??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My go to color I wear this color all the time and it looks gorgeous with my brown skin. It goes on opaque with just one coat but two is perfect.
