sky high - essie looks

sky high - essie looksgoing up? rise to the occasion in iconic deco style with a symbol of enduring grace fashioned from beguiling jet black cream over silver metallic.
step 1: hydrate with apricot cuticle oil.
step 2: clean then prep nail with an essie base coat or treatment.
step 3: apply 2 coats of no place like chrome. let dry.
step 4: using licorice and a toothpick or liner brush (found at craft stores), paint a small triangle rising up from the center of your cuticle.
step 5: frame the triangle in a half circle.
tip: stroke from the left side of the nail across to the right. then, start your next stroke at the right side and brush across to the left to connect the line.
step 6: repeat drawing triangles and half-circles up to fill in the rest of your nail. here, there are four, but you only need to paint three rings to get the full skyscraper effect.
step 7: fill in any triangles pointing down towards your cuticle with licorice. all that should remain silver are the triangles pointing towards the tip of your nail. let dry.
step 8: shine + seal with an essie top coat.
