Rated 2 out of 5 by from What's so bad about an actual black? All I wanted was jet black... My local target store didn't carry this shade so I had to make a special trip to Ulta. I should have listened to my intuition as the green shimmer wasn't because of the lighting, but actually a feature of the polish. There are a couple other shades of green, so why can't black be just black? Regular polish chips same day for me whether I get it professionally done or DIY so expectations were high for this. I chipped the next day :( .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best product ever! I was not a fan of doing my nails because I could not deal with chipped polish after 1 or 2 days of applying the nail lacquer, since I tried Essie Couture, my nails are always painted because it lasts up to 14 days with minor fading at the tips BUT I wash most of my dishes by hand which means this is a testament of how good this product really is! Anyone who claimed that their product lasted with no chips before Essie Couture failed because I tried those products and 1or 2 days later it was already coming off. I will never spend another $ on any other product other than Essie Couture!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every other polish should be gel-ous! Just bought and painted my nails 8 days ago and they are still going strong! No chips, cracks or peeling. All the heart eyes for this product!!! I love Essie, and they have outdone themselves and everyone else with this gel polish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Lasting I received the nail Polish and top coat for free from Pinchme. I usually buy the nail polishes that cost a dollar or two abandoned chip fairly quickly. I immediately painted my toes when I received the package from Pinchme. I was impressed by how easy it was to apply. I only needed one coat, normally I do at least two. The color was bright and cheerful. The attached picture was after painting my toes over three weeks ago. I didn't reapply that's just one coat. I loved Essie nail Polish and will definitely buy additional colors in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointed I'm a huge fan. I'm disappointed that I get maybe one day wear before it chips & starts to peel. I'm a huge fan of gel nail polish, but you're gel doesn't seem to last. I have better luck with you're regular polish. Also I'm a huge fan of black and I can't seem to find you're black gel nail polish anywhere near me

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointed Unlike the other reviews, I wasn't happy with this product. In less than a week the color started to wear off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Color! I love the Essie gel system; however, I've discovered it's quite the process to have the polish look like light cured gel. My system:Day 1) Paint color - generally takes 2-3 coats and then the top coatDay2) Paint another layer of color and top coatDay 4 and every other day) Paint gel top coatIt's labor intensive, but my nails NEVER chip and are always shiny. My mani easily lasts 10-12 days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gel like nail polish I loved the color, the ease of applying the polish was also good but with having to apply two coats plus the topcoat it took a really long time for the nails to dry. Even after hours later some of my nails still creased. Also only after two days the tops where already fading away. There's definitely room for improvement but I think I would like to try a lighter color still .
