Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! I purchased this after 5 other colors. I wanted to get a wedding appropriate color for my daughter who is in a wedding as Jr Bridesmaid. I would say it's similar to Mademoiselle (reg essie). To maximize value for dollars, I started purchasing the kits (color and a top coat) so I now have 3 bottles of top coat to go with 5 or so colors. Very easy to apply and dries lightening fast!!! I tend to wait long times between manicures (general life and stuff) and every time I used a couture polish, I never worry about chips. I only have to worry about grow out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color Me Surprised!! I actually just bought this the other day and had to put it on. I like really pale pinks on my fingernails since I feel like it's more difficult for people to see imperfections or chips in neutral nail polish. I have been wearing OPI Bubblebath for YEARS in the gel formula at a salon and finally wanted to save money and see if I could do the same thing myself. I stumbled onto Essie by pure accident but, after a couple days of playing with my new colors from Essie, I have to say I am incredibly impressed! This dries pretty quickly and is very easy to apply with the new brush (I feel like they idiot-proofed nail polish), which is great when polishing with your non-dominant hand. I feel like the color is VERY similar to Mademoiselle or maybe Ballet Slippers, which is great for me since those are my two favorite shades for my fingernails. I will be purchasing more colors from Essie. Thank you for making my wallet happy by not going to the nail salon every two weeks!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh the difference quality makes! A friend introduced me to Essie nail polish and I am so glad she did! Fairy Taylor is my most recent purchase and my first foray into the gel line. I love it. The new brush design is fabulous: it makes the polish SO easy to apply. Don't know why it took so long for someone to make a nail polish applicator brush this way. The polish and top coat dry FAST. Although I do my own cooking, cleaning, gardening and minor house repairs I've experienced absolutely no chipping. The polish is just as smooth and shiny as the day it was applied. This quality nail polish is worth the investment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lasting Shine I received this free to try from Pinchme in return for an honest review. I am not impressed. I am an avid nail polish user/buyer. I expected more from this. People actually commented on the ugly color of my polish (this has never happened to me before.) I was so embarrassed. I thought this polish would look "plump" like gel polishes typically do. This did not. It just looked super shiny. I love the shine of this topcoat. I have never experienced anything like it before. It is hands down the ultimate topcoat. But unfortunately the polish only lasted about 3 1/2 days before chipping on me. I wear cheap polishes that last this long. The topcoat never dulled in the 5 days I wore it though=impressive. I am hoping my experience isn't "the norm" & that maybe there was a glitch in my application method or that i washed my hands too often. I would gladly buy the topcoat repeatedly----AMAZING!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the color !!! I received the Essie couture nail polish as a free sample from pinch me.com. I received the color Model Clicks along with the top coat. I absolutely love this color it is amazingly perfect for fall!!! The top coat is super shiny. it was pretty chip resistant. My only issue was when applied in thin coats, it seemed to get tacky before I was done with each nail, so I would recommend not applying it in as thin of coats as normal!! Did not use with a base coat lasted over seven days. Removing was easy, did stain a little, but with suck a dark color expected!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lovely Color I received this as a free sample from PINCHme.com and couldn't wait to use it. I loved the color, but it didn't seem to go on as nicely as my other essie polishes. Dried quickly but it also chipped quickly on me and didn't last as long as I expected. I will use it again and see if it was application error on my part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good polish I Received a sample through pinchme.com in exchange for an honest review. Honestly, I liked it, but I did not love it. The color I received was this light pink color and I prefer darker colors. But that's just a personal choice. The quality was good, not quite salon quality, but good. It stayed on better than many others I've tried, and was chip free longer than usual...and I am a housewife so my hands are always doing something! Solid 4 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hmmmm it was okay received a sample to try from Pinchme. I was disappointed because the color I received was a light pink -- a color I never wear. I did go ahead and tried it. It went on easily and the top coat was super shiny. The polish chipped after several days. I tried to keep it as long as I could, but had to remove it after a week because of the color that I did not like and it looked like my natural nails I was not happy at all. I would give it another try if a color more my style -- bright pinks and reds.
