neon 2016

my new neon collection is so electric, it's off the wall

miami's wynwood walls are the muse for my neon 2016 collection, featuring an eye-opening and breathtaking vivid pigment palette in a new formula. bright. dazzling. electrifying. to make your neon pop, don’t forget to start with my 2 in 1 white primer & basecoat ‘prime & pop’. then apply 2 coats of your favorite neon shade, followed by a coat of gel.setter.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's dull!! I was so excited to buy the neon color 'galaxy gal'. It didn't say anywhere that it's MATTE! It looks so dull on my nails! Also, I put three coats and you can still see through it! So disappointed! :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So dissapointed purchased "off the wall" and in my eyes look neon pink but when I apply it it was more like a really bad red and Matte I had to apply 3 coats to make it look decent today is day 2 and is all chipped and so cheap looking dont think would buy this product again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Consistency I just got this whole collection and even with the primer the colors do not go one evenly and dry uneven. It may appear even with application but dries streaky. I don't plan on using any of the other colors again. All my nails look different colors. The polishes are also very thin. Unlike other essie colors in terms of consistency.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful color, bad formula I love the new neon colors... But unfortunately They're so difficult to apply. I had to do 2 coats of the prime and pop base to get it to be somewhat even, and another 2 coats to get the neon (gallery gal) to be somewhat even. 5 layers of polish is just wayyyy too much work. Hopefully they wear well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big disappointment I own almost exclusively essie nail Polish and I love all of their products- except this one. I was so excited for this collection and bought 3 colors plus the correct base coat to use underneath. The base coat went on unevenly and the neon colors are SO THIN. You have to use at least 3 coats and it's still doesn't come out even. Not to mention the end result is no where near a neon color. To make matters worse, after removing the nail Polish it had actually stained my nails which has never happened with other essie colors. For a company I love so much, this was a huge let down. I will not use any of the colors again and essie should be offering some sort of reimbursement for this bad product based on the rest of the bad reviews.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing. Bought 2 colors from this collection without knowing they were "neon" nail colors. As any fanatic would know typical neon collections are bizarre and often have a weird jelly kind of application... Just takes too much and too many coats of anything to be worth it. If you did buy a polish, use white as an undercoat and then a topcoat. Still a terrible polish though and basically useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from extremely disappointed I wanted to love the fuschia color, I really did! but the polish is too transparent and no amount of coats will make it look even (I also used the primer!). And forget trying to go through the whole process using my non-dominant hand! I was hoping for a bright, opaque color and this did not deliver. Will likely not use again

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I just tried the pinky orange one and was incredibly disappointed. It came out as a matte burnt reddish orange and after three coats was still not opaque. It looked somewhat better after lacquer but nowhere near the quality I am used to from Essie. Going to try and return it tomorrow.
