Beautiful shard, very versatile

I bought this shade not realizing it was more of a sheer polish or topper, but I wasn’t disappointed at all that it was! It has build ability which is nice. For any profession that calls for neutral shades or nails I definitely think this would pass and be a fun spin on bare nails.

my fave essie polish!

i have a collection of essie polishes but birthday girl is easily my favourite. looks like a shimmery pink in the bottle, but comes up more champagne gold on the nails/in certain light (perhaps because i’ve had my bottle a while now?) but i love the shade. per the name, i always end up with this shade on my fingers or toes on my birthday - and for the rest of the year, it’s a shade that makes me feel super cute and feminine! i like the sheer look with two coats, and like to add a third if i want a more solid look. i’ve always worn it alone but i imagine it’d also make an amazing topper with other shades!

I really like the “Birthday Girl” Essie nail polish and have made it my goto nail polish for everyday wear. It lasts much longer than any of the salon or store-bought polishes and my keeps my nails strong for growth.

I prefer my natural nails and gel polish seems to always make mine brittle. I'm not sure if that is normal. I decided to do my nails myself and went to my local drug store to find a nail polish for my birthday. This was 100% unplanned, but they had one birthday girl left and I fell in love with the color. It's a girly pink with a shifting shimmer. It doesn't last as long as gel, but it didn't damage my nails so I will definitely keep purchasing colors.

I have it shown over essie’s watermelon and sally hansen’s make it snappy! Although it looks pink in the bottle, it looks like a gold shimmer on the nails. Not quite what I expected but fun nonetheless ♡

I bought this color for what it's name entails: For my birthday! I turn 19 this January and I wanted the perfect nail color for the occasion. I LOVE pink shades and usually wear them, so this shimmery pink really caught my eye! I used just 2 coats and it was beautiful. I have been wearing it for 7 days and they haven't chipped once. I only wear Essie and I am a nail art fanatic (I paint my nails basically every couple of days because of how much I love it) so I really recommend this!

Pink and Gold Glamour

Very happy to finally find a pink polish with a gold shimmer instead of silver. One or two coats for a subtle natural look, or layer a third for an intense color. Reminds me of the look some are using with magnetized nail polish. A Stunner for sure.

I got this to sparkle up a base color for a fancy wedding I was attending. It was the perfect amount of shimmer and still allowed the base color to shine through. Many people came up and asked what products were on my nails.
I've tried this with a range of base colors and have been pleased with each pairing, no matter what color I've paired it with.

The Best Birthday Present!!!!

I love this shade! I received it as an early Birthday present today, along with two other shades (as if I need more Essie nail polish!), and am using it on my fingernails to wear out for my Birthday tomorrow! It creates a beautiful shimmering effect, as if I have pearls on the ends of my fingers! All I am going to add is a coat of Essie Gel Setter for some more shine and I'll be all set! I put a lot of time and care into my natural nails and only want to put the finest nail polish on them!
Note: I did have to add a few more coats than usual for a solid color, but one or two coats would make for a fantastic sheer look!
