Not what I was expecting

Not the color displayed at all. Its more of a chartreuse which is not at all what I was looking for. (I ordered it for Target pick up). It took 4 coats to not be transparent, and was lack luster and not the vibrant lime green in the picture. I'm bummed.

Excellent color, truly QUICK DRY

Hoping my review rises to the top as I was not incentivized and paid full price for this product! Every color I’ve tried of the quick dry formula has been fabulous, this is no exception. A happy medium between electric neon yellow and brat green. For those having issues with coverage, I would highly recommend making sure you’ve dehydrated your nail with acetone before applying. Most quick dry formulas, I have noticed, apply more thin and streaky over nails that haven’t been properly prepared. Something about the way they can interact with the natural oils on your nails. Two coats and one coat of Essie’s super quick dry topcoat makes my manicure perfect every time and lasts me at least 3 days (keeping in mind that I work outdoors with my hands, so your mani might last even longer!)

Really pretty color! Perfect the summer time. This polish dries fairly fast and I like the brush because it’s easy to apply even layers. The packaging for Essie is always so nice!

Thinnest polish I’ve ever seen

I normally love the Expressie line of polish, it’s been my go-to! But it seems like they’ve switched to a mew formula or something, and it’s terrible. I bought Main Character Moment (295) and Bring the Heat (329) and BOTH were too thin and watery to use.
I never ever write negative reviews, but I honestly can’t believe I spent over $20 on two bottles of nail polish with the consistency of rubbing alcohol. Main Character Moment just made my nails look sickly, with the slightest green wash over them, instead of paint. Yes, I shook the bottle vigorously before, during, and after painting. And then again. Bring the Beat was marginally better, but still so watery.
If it was just one bottle, I might have chalked it up to a bad batch… but two, and I think I’m going to have to say goodbye to any new Expressie colors 😭 beware!

Vibrant and easy application

Very interesting color, I don’t usually go for bright greens so this one is unique in my collection. It’s very vibrant, goes on easy and drys very fast compared to other standard polishes. It lasts me a few days with zero chips. I use Essie polishes often so the formula is a hit, however the color is not one I would typically reach for. Definitely one for the summer!

(Green review) The only reason I’m removing a star is because I don’t care for the color! If it was a pink or lighter purple it would be more up my ally. That being said, the product works really well and dries quickly as promised! I sadly am not very good at doing my own nails so I will spare everyone a photo of my finished hand (which is my fault). If I got a different color I would have rated 5 stars. I hate waiting around for nail polish to dry so this is really a great product. I’m curious to see some of the other colors they have available. The green is kind of a hideous color I don’t think I’ll be using it again.

This nail polish truly pops and this color is “the moment”! The pigment is great and application is easy. Definitely a great quality polish with great drying time. Chip resistant stays on nails long. Very pretty would recommend

A great spring color! Only issue I had was that it chipped a little, but I was able to fix it easily. Took pretty fast to dry and lasted about 2 weeks!

Super pretty color ! The bottle is nice and chic too , pretty different from their previous polishes but still the same concept. Color glides on smoothly and I only applied one coat. I applied this on my friend’s little sister and she loved it haha! Scent wasn’t too bad either

I got both choreo queen and main character movement. I imagined main character movement would be brighter and lighter than it actually is. Tried painting my nails, and was not satisfied: the polish is really thin and takes a long time to dry. You'll need to put on multiple thin layers and be very patient if you want the color to be even/ show up well

This is a great nail polish. The color is a really nice lime green perfect for the spring and summer seasons. The brush is nice enough to help be preside as possible with the application. The best part is how fast it dries. You can use your hands to do other things after couple minutes since it’s quick drying. Doesn’t chip too fast either. Would recommend.

This nail polish has nice staying power, but I find that it doesn’t apply as smoothly as the regular Essie formula. I have to put in more effort to make sure my nails are streak-free. Other than that, I love the colors and plan to use them all summer.

Love this neon green! It is so vibrant but does take a couple coats to show good on your nails. It dries super fast which is very nice if you don’t have a nail dryer. Seems to be pretty chip resistant for the most part.

This color was not my favorite but I think that’s because I’m very pale and have red undertones so lime greens like these don’t work well on me. This formula does dry very fast but doesn’t work with a top coat as well.

I love Essie ! But this was really it for me! This lime green wouldn’t typically be my first pick but I tried it on and ended up loving it. The brush makes it easy to apply! But the real wow was how quick it dried! I usually always dance my nails applying them because I’m impatient but nope! It didn’t not chip or damage ! I love Essie !

I used this product this past weekend for St. Patrick’s Day and it was perfect! So easy and smooth to apply and such a vibrant color. Essie is a reputable brand with high quality products and this color was no exception. I will say I wish this bundle included an Essie top coat because my nails did chip soon after application, but I do recognize that could be due to using another brand’s topcoat.

Essie has been my favorite brand of nail polish for a while and this expressie line just made it better. It dries extremely fast, even with multiple layers. The finish is shiny and smooth even without a top coat. The applicator is not too big or too small. It’s nice because it’s rounded. The color is definitely “main character moment” vibe and not for everyday but still nice to have for certain occasions.

Nice bright and bold, much like a yellow highlighter color. Pic with both colors together only shows one layer of color. The other picture shows after a second application. While it may take a few applications to get the desired color, drying time is pretty fast.

apologies for the photo— i just got a fresh mani so did not test this right now, but i have been a long time lover of expressie polishes. they have great pigment so you only need one coat, they dry quickly, and they last me a week or so before they start chipping (which is great for me as I’m pretty rough on my nails!). i am not a huge fan of this shade, personally— it pulls a bit like a neon puke green in person, whereas it looks more like a lemon-lime in the online photos. but i do love this line!!
