Darker than expected

I generally enjoy the quality of polishes in the Expressie line and was super excited to try this color but was ultimately disappointed by its lack of depth. The final color is VERY dark, almost black, rather than a darker chocolate-y brown. Wish it was just a tiny bit lighter.

I am going to spam every color with a 5 star review to make up for my first 3 star review:
I originally bought a very light color that needed several coats to get the desired effect. I ended up loving the wider angled shape of the brush and the quick drying effect so much that I went back and bought every color. This is the holy grail of nail polishes. Perfect for folks who want to get a quick mani in before work or a night out. Please forgive me lovely Essie people for my previous 3 star review. This product get all my love, please make more colors and I will continue to shout my adoration for 'Expressie' from the mountaintops!
