I just tried Essie’s new Jelly Gloss nail polish in Sky Jelly, and it’s pure dreamy pastel perfection! this is a super cute color! I really love the look of the sheer jelly polishes, but I found the blue one to have more of a sheer creme finish rather than a jelly one. this photo shows one coat of all the colors plus one of my natural nails. the application wasn't bad, but it wasn't instantaneously even. overall really nice polish, but maybe not for the jelly line!

A solid polish!

This is a great buildable polish. The light blue is a gorgeous shade. The classic packaging never misses and the scent is not too strong. This took three coats but the drying time is very fast. The amount of product the brush picks up is perfect. This is a pricier polish but I think the quality makes it worth it. I would buy more shades!

Very sheer

I knew the polish would be sheer but this is so sheer. 1 coat has barely any color and I did not want to paint like 10 coats on my finger to get it to the color that the bottle is. However, it does dry fast since it’s so sheer.

Nice color

I got this one from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Essie sky jelly is verry nice color. Soft blue with a little bit sheer but I like it. The brush is very smooth to help you easy to apply color and the polish is last so long. Highly recommend it.

Chic and Sheer

The Essie Jelly Gloss nail polish is great for a sheer look but still adds a chic and pop of color. I’m glad to have this addition to my nail polish palette and collection. I’ve only worn this on its own but can see it be a layering look or design a custom look for your nails. If you do apply this color alone, I would recommend adding more than one layer as the first application is very sheer. But once you layer, the color shows more prominently. It also does have a jelly gloss feel and makes my nails feel so shiny. Lastly drying time was a lot faster than expected. Within five minutes, my nails were already dry and ready for show off. I highly recommend and love that I can layer and build on the colors without having the polish look streaky.

Pretty color

I thought this nail polish was going to be my new favorite! I loved the pretty blue color and the packaging seemed so nice! However I wasn’t expecting the “jelly” texture to be so opaque- which meant lots of layers were needed. Other than that it was very pretty and dried fast!

I love to make sure my nails are done and essie is the way to go! It’s very lightweight yet build able. the color is very cute and light yet strong. It glides on very smooth its more on the liquid side but it doesn’t move around too much. And a little goes a long way. It’s a great pro it for the price! Nail salon quality at home!

Fantastic nail polish

This nail polish goes on very easy and is very fun to work with. You can do one coat for a light/translucent look, or layer it to solidify the color. This blue is perfect for summer. The bottles are thick and am not worried if I drop it as I believe this can withstand it.

These polishes are for sure Jelly. They are so translucent I almost use them as a top coat. Overall the finish and coverage just weren't what I prefer alone. I'll be pairing them with other polishes to create an iridescent effect.

I LOVEEE THIS COLOR. Very easy to apply. Took less than 3 minutes to dry. I like a solid finish and had to use four coats to achieve this look. Nice packaging. Unfortunately, it chipped after two days of wearing it.

I absolutely loved this blue color, especially in the packaging. When applying it, i had to give it two good coats for it to stick out. The blue finish is very pretty and it has a pastel look to it. It cried very quickly, and it has become a favorite!

Fun new jelly polish

I received this free from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. This is a really nice jelly polish. It builds up great and allows for layering over other colors. The brush is a great shape, a couple of swipes and my nail was covered. I also found that it dries pretty quickly. I’m not a big fan of the color with my skin tone as a full nail color. If you like see through colors or doing nail art at home, I recommend these polishes.

I received two different colors from essie and Influenster, one was orchid jelly and the other was sky jelly. I really liked both of the colors! They were quite sheer but after a couple of coats, their colors were enhanced. They’re both light pastel and so dainty. The colors give a vintage, but colorful feel. The only downside is that it chips really easily. But, it’s definitely a 8/10 for me!

I love Essie products and are on of my go to brands. But have not had a chance to try the Jelly Gloss line until now. I thought the color was really beautiful and light. I took me three coats but I think 4 would be the desired look if you want it completely saturated. Although I didn’t try this, since it is so light you could experiment using different colors for an artistic effect. The only knock is I had this on for a couple hours before using my hands to do a task. The polish scrunched up which was a bummer.

Could be more durable, but looks adorable

I love the color and the glossy shine. I haven’t tried it with a top coat yet because of this. I wish it was a little more durable, but I have been doing a lot around and outside the house lately. It peels off (with some effort, not flaking off) in a satisfying way. It also comes off easily with polish remover, but I haven’t had to do that much yet.

Pretty color, it’s very attractive and not a color you see often! I liked that after three coats, the color indeed looked like a jelly consistency. I loved the vibrancy of the color and do think this will last at least five days without chipping. It looks great!

A gorgeous jelly polish that brings an airy vibe. The nail polish was very great with being a bit translucent to where I could see my natural nails but also have that sky blue color. The color that ended up on my nails was very accurate to how it was supposed to look. I don’t feel like the yellow undertones are too noticeable but what mattered to me was the outcome. The process was very simple. The drying time was less than five minutes. What I really like is that I can build coats up with this polish if I feel like needing more of a solid color. I can control how translucent the color ends up with using different amounts of coats. The scent of the polish is strong but bearable. I was able to give nice tints to other colors too after applying this jelly coat to other color coats. It’s so beautiful! There’s so many different designs and techniques you can use with this jelly. It’s the best!

Love this color! I’m wearing two coats of sky jelly in this photo and it’s still translucent and jelly-looking. The polish is super smooth and applies very evenly, so the finished product is not patchy at all. Since the polish is thin it dries quick enough that I didn’t mess it up while waiting for it to dry. The color is pretty accurate to the photo on the site. I got a lot of compliments on these nails!

This nail polish is good because it applies really like so all you have to do is more layers if you want more color. There is no scent, I like the packaging to me it’s easier to hold the square shaped bottles. It does take a long time to dry so make sure you don’t plan on doing anything for at least an hr/2 hrs after

I was able to try the blue and white shades of the Essie jelly polish. I definitely prefer the blue to the white. The blue covers most of the nail color from coming through but it is still a little sheer.
Overall I prefer the blue to the white color polish.

Can't decide which color I loved more

It's very opaque, which is something I guess I should have accounted for when jelly nail polish was involved 😅 it can take anywhere from 2-4 applications for a darker shade, as pictured above. The lighter ones are one application, and then two applications between the middle and forefinger. The second photo it's 3-4 applications(I didn't keep track) to get a darker shade. However, I loved it even on the lightest side of things - it felt very summery! After a week, I've noticed very light chipping but nothing to write home about. Which is surprising because by the time a week rolls around most of my nail polish is gone with any other brand! It hasn't been harder to remove than normal nail polish, which I've really appreciated. Overall I love this shade and you can now consider me an Essie girl for life lol

Overall great nail polish. I adore the color and the almost dewy finish. I did two coats but I’m sure you could get away with only one coat. Dries fairly quickly compared to other nail polishes.
