So pretty for winter!

Ok listen, this winter in Ohio has been absolutely kicking my butt so I’m trying to find any and every way or thing I can possibly do to take away the Ohio winter blues. (And trust me, this year they’re rough) So I decided I am going to do my nails and my teen daughter’s nails to match the outside snow covered world for a bit! It’s slightly warmer than a pure Snow White but fit perfectly with the colors outside around us! Essie has always been one of my absolute favorite nail polishes because they offer SO many different colors to not only match my outfits, but also my mood and the world around me. If we can’t change it ( the weather for sure) we can embrace the beauty of the seasons by using the colors to make things make more sense!

This Essie polish is such a nice neutral color - the Shiitake Happens is a warm white/tan and the absolute perfect neutral! Love it for winter and summer! As always Essie delivered with awesome consistency and lasting power!

This polish is so cute! It was easy to apply and thick. The shitake is a pretty color, and is a very light grey. It looks very nice and modern. It is so long lasting even without a base coat or top coat. I love the way it looks and my nails feel stronger with it!

The color is a white beige. The color applied very smoothly and settled nicely. It definitely needs at least two coats of polish. It dries fast as well. Essie is my go to polish brand.

This nail polish is a lovely shade that applies easily. The finish is smooth and dried pretty quickly. The bottle is also so pretty and the brush worked really well to apply the polish evenly. I used two coats to get solid coverage, as one coat was a little sheer.

New obsession: this Essie shade 💅✨. I was honestly surprised by the coverage; it looks great with just one coat, but applying two really makes the color pop. It dries in a flash, so it’s perfect if you’re always on the go. Highly recommended! The color is simply divine. ☁️🕊️

It is such a pretty, neutral shade, but it does take a few coats to get full opacity. It also doesn’t dry down super fast, so you need a little patience between layers. That said, the color is gorgeous, smooth once built up, and totally worth it. I still love it and would wear it again.

Loving the gourmet Eddie series! Such fun makes for polish. This color, Shiitake Happens, is a beautiful mushroom beige. It’s very flattering and I think would look great with a little tan. It was easy to apply and last similar to Essie’s line.

This is a beautiful color. It’s not pure white. It’s not off-white. It’s really hard to explain which I like one coat is enough. It is premium nail polish very easy to use and it’s compatible with other colors as well.

This is a very light, pale green nail polish, one of those unusual and beautiful colors that you won't find in just any brand. This brand definitely shines with these shades; I loved it. Plus, it's excellent quality, as it doesn't chip as easily as other brands. The bottle design is very pretty, and the price is reasonable for the quality of the product.

Essie Shiitake Happens is a semi sheer very light grey/off white neutral that goes with everything. It is a bit sheer so if you want a more opaque color it takes a few coats but the color is buildable.
