I wasn’t a fan of this one. It takes a while to dry and the color is something a lot of people probably don’t gravitate towards love Essie just this color didn’t work

Fun for summer

This is such a fun minty color. It pairs well with my skin tone. Some pastels feel too light but this one has enough pigment that it’s noticeably minty. I also love that Essie polishes tend to last a long time without chipping

I liked this nail polish and I will use it again! The polish is deposited in a nice, thin, even layer and the polish doesn’t come out gloopy at all. One coat is nice, thin, and translucent, while two coats still looks great and slightly more opaque.

Mint candy apple is such a beautiful color!! It’s nice and bright and it has a beautiful glossy finish that I love. It applies on so easy and drys quickly and will last you a long time before it start to chip. Overall I live this color it’s beautiful and it compliments my skin tone.

Bubbles

The bottle and applicator are well designed. The product is easy to apply. I love the color of the product. However, this product is not quick to dry as advertised. It also bubbles up after application. It was very disappointing. It lasts about as long as other polishes

While it takes a few minutes to dry, its not as fast drying as the expressie quick dry colors. And it certainly shouldn't bubble. Applying the layers too thickly or before the first coat has dried can trap the solvents, causing bubbles.

Love the coverage of this nail polish, it's really flattering and opaque. The brush makes it easy to apply, I struggle with other brands just because they have horrible brushes but great polish. It lasted me about 2 weeks on my toes, wearing sneakers and sandals. Overall, love!

Long Lasting Before Chipping

*I received this product complimentary for reviewing purposes.* Essie has been a favorite brand of nail polish for me for years. It is affordable and easy to find at most stores. This shade is a gorgeous mint color and I love pastels for Spring. It is a more thin formula that requires two or three coats for full opacity. On me, it lasts 3 or 4 days before chipping. I do wash dishes daily and extra hand washing for my job as well, so it is really put to the test. I’d definitely recommend trying!

I love this polish , I’m not the best person to apply it but it’s easy , application glides well and they last , if you let them dry they will not chip , finished with the top coat they looked so much better . Highly recommend these .

A pretty pale color!! The color was pigmented and I only did two coats! The finish was a nice payoff with some shine. It didn’t chip as fast as normal polish either. Quick to dry and had no issues with application!

The mint candy apple color is opaque with two coats, dries fast, and has a great rounded brush that helps you get closer to the cuticle when applied. Excuse the swatches, I wanted to try them out as soon as I received them! I would recommend.

This was my go to nail polish color when I was in high school! I was super excited to see I was receiving this color because it’s been years since I’ve used it! The color artists turns out so much prettier than I expect!! The polish sheets last so long before it starts to chip away also! Doesn’t take super long to dry like other nail polishes!

This crème de menthe mint should not be any thicker than any classic nail enamel and the color should look perfect by the second coat. It also should not take more than 5 minutes to dry. It sounds like your bottle may not be quite right.

As usual, Essie is quality nail polish. I love this color - it’s a pretty mint color. The photo shows it with a chrome topcoat, but after 8 days! It still looks great without much chipping. Essie makes great nail polish especially for the price point. Mint Candy Apple has been a staple in my collection for over a decade and I always break it out when spring hits. I’d say, this polish dries moderately fast (a lot quicker with a fast dry top coat) and lasts about a week, before chipping/cracking. The color is a beautiful pastel seafoam color and quite opaque, I usually do 2 coats but you could get away with one given the impressive opacity. In the attached photos, I have Mint Candy Apple alone (middle finger) and paired with an Essie chrome effect top coat (ring finger) and it gives it a pretty metallic sheen. I love this color and polish formula, and definitely recommend it!
