I tried this Essie nail polish and the truth surprised me quite a bit. The red color is intense and very bright, almost with a "glass nails" effect as it promises, wich makes the nails look elegant without much effort.

I tried the Essie Glass Nails in Full Blown and I really liked it. The formula goes on smooth with no steaks and gives a super glossy, glass like finish in just 2 coats. It dries pretty fast and doesn’t feel heavy on the nails.
With a base coat, it lasted a few days with minimal chipping even with daily use. The color is vibrant and gives a clean, polished look, perfect for an easy at home manicure.

This is great for anyone who loves sheer color. It is buildable color but doesn’t become fully opaque. It goes on smooth and isn’t too thick. With thin layers it does dry fast. Essie has some of the best polishes.

The Essie glass nails is such a beautiful color. It applies flawlessly and lasts without chipping. The scent is not strong and not overbearing like some nail polishes. Overall, I was very happy to have received and will continue to keep in rotation. I honestly honestly am very happy with this color/formula and you will be too!!! I 100% will be trying more colors!!

Cute red gloss sheer color!! Perfect for Valentine’s Day. This polish is definitely a two coat nail color if you want a darker shade but one coat was cute alone. Easy to apply and last a pretty long time.

I tried Essie's Glass Nails nail polish in the color Full Blown, which looks like a red jelly color. I applied 1 coat and my usual 3 coats for comparison. Like most jellies, it's quite sheer. If you don't like that, then this polish isn't for you. I think this polish is perfect for the warmer months. I love the shine and the long wear.

It’s my first time trying this brand it’s a pretty sheer color and it’s easy to use. I wasn’t blown away with the results. It’s a gloss nail polish so I think it would look great as a topper but not on its own. The consistency is thin and it does dry within a few mins. The packaging is nice.

I was surprised by the pop of color that Essie glass nails in the shade Highballer gave! It’s translucent enough to still see the natural nail tip (which I like), but bright! I did 2 light shades because I prefer a lighter pink on my nails, but could’ve applied more for a deeper fuchsia color. I like that you have options depending on how much you apply! I will definitely be trying the other colors!

I have received the Essie Glass Nail Collection in the shade Effet Verre. It is more of a fuchsia shade with blue undertones. It has a glossy finish and is translucent, not a full-coverage regular nail polish. It gives a salon-like glossy look when applied over your favorite base coat.I liked the texture and the glossy finish it offers, but the shade I chose does not suit my skin tone. It would look much better on fair skin tones. The collection also has many nude shades to choose from.Another thing I noticed is that wearing it alone will not give you that fancy salon look. For better results, apply it over a base color.

Such a beautiful color! The color reminds me of candied apples or sugar art. The color and intensity varies on how many coats of nail polish you put on. After 5 coats I was able to achieve a pretty pigmented nail and the color was beautiful. It does take a while to achieve the right opacity, but it's worth it.

GLASS NAILS FULL BLOWN 187 is out of my norm. While I wear gloves in patient care, I use Essie Glass Nails for a light "rose-pinkish" look in 1-3 coats and not appear out of sorts. For a fun "feeling myself" moment, I can add coats, 4+ to achieve a "full blown" red look.
I like the versatility and the overall see-through look. While I have not experimented with nail jewels/art, I'm assuming it would it would work fine.

Essie’s Glass Nail Polish in the shade Full Blown (187) is a gorgeous translucent red that delivers a glossy, glass-like finish. This polish is meant to be sheer—if you’re looking for full opacity, you’d need more than three coats, which I personally don’t recommend. The results shown in my photos were achieved with two coats, which I find gives the best balance of color and translucency.
I like to wait about five minutes between each coat. This helps the polish dry faster and reduces the chances of mistakes or smudging. The brush glides easily across the nail and applies the polish smoothly and evenly, making application effortless.
Longevity was another pleasant surprise—it lasted longer than I expected for a translucent formula while maintaining its shine.
Overall, Full Blown is a beautiful translucent red that’s perfect if you love a sheer, glossy look with an elegant finish.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] the Essie glass nail ongles effet verre number 187 is such a cute soft pink. Its fast drying and not a strong odor of acetone. It has a nice shimmer and reflective tone. It lasted almost 2 weeks on my feet and hands.

Color is “full blown”Please excuse my ugly nails.. I just got gel taken off 🤣 this color is cute & I liked this polish formula. It dried within a half hour. My pointer finger on my right hand chipped after 36 hours but I was typing & clicking away at work. My left hand is still going strong. If you’ve thought about trying this brand I recommend. I probably could have done more coats of this color but I was in a rush lol

I absolutely loved this polish. The formula was pretty good. I did have some patchiness when first applied, but the drying time made up for it. And it lasted longer than 5 days for me (even after washing dishes and other cleaning). The color reads more pink than magenta on me, but I feel it would make pretty polish for the summer. Now this is a sheer polish. I prefer 2 coats, but I know the color will never be opaque. You will see nail line which works for me since I like sheer jelly polishes.

This super shiny translucent color is on the sheer side and a different look than the more traditional opaque cream colors. However, the color results are buildable. For best results, first, apply 1 coat of your favorite essie base coat. Then, apply 2 thin coats of essie Glass Nails nail polish, add a third if needed to reach your desired opacity. Finish your mani with 1 coat of any essie top coat.
