This is my go-to. It is the perfect shade of sheer for a clean soapy-nail look. It is not as pink as ballet slipper and not as white as mademoiselle. With two coats between essie base coat and speed setter top coat, this lasts a week. Please keep making this color

Skinny Dip - My forever favorite!

I’ve worn natural sheers (pinks, ivory, whites) for over 30 years! Skinny dip is the BEST, most beautiful nail color for fans of this category. It’s not too this and not too that - it’s perfect. Clean, classy, soft. I have my mother and my daughter as devotees as well. My hands look like a million bucks with this shade. I hope Essie keeps it as a core color forever!

The perfect sheer pink

This is a lovely, sheer/nude/lightest peachy pink/my-natural-nails-but-better shade. I prefer it to all of the following, as all of the following are too milky: Mademoiselle; Ballet Slippers; Tie the Knotie; Vanity Fairest. But it avoids the bubblegum stridency of Sugar Daddy. It is a beautiful, subtle pink. It goes on without streaks (so different from Mademoiselle.) I am a very pale white person, with yellow undertones to my skin. I use this only for pedicures.

I bought a bottle of this a year ago and haven’t been able to find it since, and it’s been my favorite nude pink in my collection. I finally found a rogue bottle of it at the drugstore today and I’m SO happy I saw it. Gorgeous color for everyday.

Beautiful for medium skin tones

I am wearing this right now and it is the perfect nude for medium and dark tan skin tones. I really, really, really hope that Essie does not discontinue this shade (yes, I understand it’s Limited Edition, but you guys should make it permanent) as it is important to have nudes for all skin tones

I absolutely love this color! I think it’s not received enough attention but it’s such a great nude. Not too pink, not too white, not streaky. Please make this part of your permanent collection.

Elegant, flattering, beautiful

Having tried many of the shades from the sheer and nude collections, I can say that Skinny Dip is my facourite. As you build up through multiple coats (I use up to 3), the color remains of a flattering tone, without being overly pink or white. It is an excellent choice for an elegant, understated finish.. I see that it is not available on line, I hope Essie will not discontinue this classic and versatile shade.

Success at Last!

Finally found a nude that compliments my light olive skin tone. Everyone loves Ballet Slippers but it just wasn't the right shade. I suspect a bit cool for the yellow in olive skin. What I love is that I can build coats during the work week (up to 4 coats this am ) and it looks beautiful! Hope this becomes a permanent shade.
