Pretty good gel polish

I just got this today and I really like the color and the shine. Unfortunately I experienced some chipping about an hour or two after I applied and had to touch up. I think the problem is that I didn't let the polish dry enough before I resumed normal activity. Also I think I used cuticle oil too soon and it may have affected the polish. Since the retouch I haven't had any problems. I let it dry and skipped the cuticle oil. I really like this color because it suits almost any skin tone. I will update in a week.

I’m very disappointed in this product and so surprised at how many good reviews it has. I followed the steps, using no base coat and following the color up with the top coat. The top coat took off layers of the color even after waiting to dry. I still tried it out, the color receded from the tips of my nails despite capping the color and top coat. Then I took off the polish today and it stained my nails! I’m really bummed because I wanted a longwear polish that wouldnt damage my nails to remove like gel does, guess I have to keep looking

Hi there clurr, We wish you could see the results you were hoping for with this softened rose nail color with a gold pearl finish. The Gel Couture top coat should not react with the polish the way you describe. And of course your color should be chip free for well past 1 week. While most users will not see staining, some people are more likely to experience staining from intensely pigmented polish shades. Those with dry nails are especially at risk. If you see staining during polish removal, lightly buff the nail to remove polish residue from the surface of the nail plate. I received this gel nail polish from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. It’s the multi-faceted shade (71) by Essie. The color is a pretty coppery pink shade with gold pearl finish. Looks great! Goes well with tan skintones. The color lasted well for a week on me. Packaging is unique and forms a good grip when you hold it. It’s a two-step process to apply: color + top coat. Made in Spain :)

opaque and long lasting

This nail polish is thin but very opaque. One coat was enough for me when applying it. It lasted over a week without chipping, which is the longest any nail polish has lasted for me. The only problem I had with is because it is so runny, it was kind of messy to apply.

Easy to use and long lasting

I love these types of nail polishes that last long but don't need to be soaked off, so I was excited to try this Essie product for review. I usually go for bright or dark nail polish, so the shade Multi-Faceted is not a color I'd have picked, but I was pleasantly surprised! I would describe it as a peachy neutral with fine gold shimmer, and it reads as a shimmery nude on my NC15-20 olive skin tone. I did 2 coats, which definitely looked better, but you could get away with one for a more subtle look. The bottles are really pretty but kind of large for storing with my other polishes. The brush is perfect, even for a pedicure, and it applied easily since I only had to do one swipe most of the time. It dried super fast, with the topcoat and without! I did a quick swatch on one nail to check out the color, and by the time I grabbed a tissue to wipe it off, it was mostly set. It's pretty shiny and looks "finished" even without the topcoat. The color did not come off into the topcoat brush, which is a peeve of mine with similar topcoats. And it wears forever as a pedicure. Sometimes I'm looking for a one-coat polish that I can throw on when I have somewhere to go but no time to invest in a manicure. I think this will be my new pick!

Such pretty colors. My daughters and I loved using these. The packaging is super cute, it dries in no times and the application is so easy that my 7 year old could do it! The color only needed two coats, I’m really impressed
