A beautiful and durable polish and topcoat combina

This nail polish is shiny and the color is very vibrant and beautiful. My wife wore it and said that it was durable and didn’t chip like her nail lacquer usually does. She said that the topcoat dries really fast and that two coats of color made a drastic improvement over a single coat.

Good product? Ummm sure - here are my issues.
1. It doesn’t stay on any better than any other nail polish. Can we have individuals that actually use their hands? Dishes - laundry - kickboxing - lifting weights - because literally anything is like boom crack.
2. The color isn’t my jam - I picked a different one but this was delivered and sadly it has more of a brown tinge to it when it’s on and I thought it would be more vampy red!

I received this product for free from influencer in exchange for my honest feedback. this is hands-down, my favorite nail polish. whenever I use other brands, my nails chipped instantly. But with Essie, my polish stays flawless for almost a week. The colors selection is outstanding. I love this red color. It has a little bit of glitter and it makes it look amazing! I can’t wait to purchase more colors. The topcoat is outstanding and for superior to any brand that I’ve ever used. I like to apply to coats and make sure that it dries completely in between before applying the second coat. I really appreciate the new design of the bottles. They’re easier to grip and easier to open. I highly recommend this brand to everyone!

WOAH! I’ve never had my nails done this quickly before. And when I say dry, I mean in about 2 minutes it was solid. I clicked my other nails through it and usually it would have smudged or had a line go through it. This did not budge or get messed up at all. I’m actually quite amazed that it didn’t require a nail dryer to activate the gel.

Gel by Essie Liquid Diamond collection is amazing! I love that you don’t need a uv light to use them , which makes them easy to travel with. You don’t have to worry about traveling with a uv light.. They lasted 15 days even in the toughest jobs!

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I absolutely love this two gel polish set! The color, size me up, and shine is stunning. The duo together is long lasting even with the toughest tasks. The color must be applied twice on the nail to fully cover the nail. Wait about 5 minutes unless you use a fan to dry the polish it may dry quicker. The top coat is defiantly a must for this to be long lasting. I love that the gel doesn’t require a UV lamp. It makes application quick and easy for those last minute moments. I love the design of the bottles. The twist is an extra touch. The applicator brush is super easy to use and easy to handle. The polish comes off with any standard nail polish remover. The polish is priced for design, performance and name brand. I will be purchasing more as well as recommending to family and friends.

As someone who LOVES Essie products, I was excited to try out this Gel Liquid Diamonds collection, and it’s definitely one of the prettiest (and easiest to use) shimmers I’ve tried! The color applies beautifully and evenly, and the provided top coat adds a magnetic/cats-eye effect that I’ve only seen from salon nails. The nail polish does separate a little in the bottle, but there’s a bead inside that you can shake to thoroughly mix the solution.

I was really surprised with this Gel by Essie liquid diamonds collection. It was super easy to paint onto my nails and it dried so quickly! I was expecting to have to be super cautious with messing up the color but it didn’t. The removal of excess was super easy to deal with too. And I got so many compliments on the color and feel of the nails.

Product sent free for review. This nail polish is nice. love the color. It's a classic beautiful color for nails. I did two coats and think I would recommend three. There were still a few somewhat translucent spaces after the second layer was applied. The top coat definitely helped the polish last. It still looked decent after a week. I wish I would have read the instructions to reapply top coat after day 7 cuz day 8 is when it started peeling off. . Video posted is about 10 days after application.

I love doing at-home manicures and this product made for the perfect one! With regular nail polish, the polish often chips or peels within just a few days of application. With Essie’s gel couture, I did not see a single chip until Day 9 and the manicure lasted almost two weeks. I love that it doesn’t require a UV light and that the nail polish came off easily with regular nail polish remover. The color Size Me Up was not my favorite, but I’m absolutely planning on picking up another shade or two from the line. Highly recommend!!

I received the Gel by Essie Liquid Diamonds Nail polish set in shade 74 Size me up and 00 top coat in exchange for an honest review. The bottles are really cute and fancy. The brush is nice and wide to apply and good coat to the nail. The formula is perfect. Not super thick and not watery, perfect consistency. I applied 2 coats to get the maximum color. And it seemed to dry very quick. The dry result is very glossy. This is a good brand!

Too sheer for red

Gifted by Influenster & Essie. Based on the stock photos and the color in the bottle, i expected the color Size me up to be an opaque pearlescent burgundy. However, it’s super sheer even after three coats and the color is so different on my nails than it is in the bottle. It’s an extremely warm brick red instead of a pearly burgundy and it makes my nails look dirty.
I do really love the formula of Essie’s gel couture collection and already have a few other colors in my nail polish collection. They all glide on streak free and dry super quickly. The top coat adds needed depth of shine and durability. Overall, i can’t say i recommend the color “Size Me Up” but i do recommend the polish in other available shades.

love this nail polish and its gel-like finish without the need for LED light. The color is a coppery red with beautiful shimmer particles. It dries quickly and the packaging is practical. You can apply multiple layers and reutilizing it still looks good. The only downside is that it doesn’t last as long as it should.

I really loved this polish. I have nails that don’t want to hold anything. When I was getting my nails done they lady purchased a special dehydrator because my set would never stay on. This product won that struggle. My nails stayed chip free longer than ever before.
I am going to see what they have for other shaded. I think this may be my new favorite brand!

Not gonna lie, this was not the most user friendly polish. Unless you are an expert first time around, the polish stains and takes HOURS to cure. It does have high shine and the top coat works well, but it’s not worth the staining on my nail beds when I try to take it off

I really like how quickly this polish dries, it was dry to the touch in under 10 minutes. I also really like how long the polish stays on my nails, I found it lasted about a week before it started to chip. If I didn't use a top coat, it would definitely still get little dents and bangs in it even hours later so don't skip the top coat. The texture is creamy and glides on easily, which I appreciate. I'm very happy with this color and the way it holds up.

This is in no way as strong as gel polish - you can see from my photo it chips pretty easily and doesn’t last that long. It’s a pretty enough color and probably better than standard polish but in no way is comparable to gel.

Good basic polish, not gel performance

Overall good basic nailpolish, though I dont feel that it should be marketed as a gel polish equivalent. Even with the clear topcoat, this still started wearing away at the tops of the nails within couple days. The drying time with the clear topcoat was reasonable, but doesn't hold a candle to some of my other quick dry formulas as it stays somewhat tacky for awhile. I achieved full coverage with two coats, so Im very happy with that. Removes easily with acetone and didnt leave a stain on my nails.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. The color isn't very pigmented so I had to do 2 coats of the color, and one of the top coat to get it opaque enough. I did like that it's fast to dry, and the sparkle adds a nice touch. The smell of the formula is a bit strong so good ventilation is needed while applying. I noticed it doesn't chip around the edges as fast as other nail polishes, which i love. And when it does chip, they are pretty small and inconspicuous for a while. That's enough to make me want to try this in more shades.

I love that i won't have to goto the nail shop and pay extra. The paint lasts for at least a few weeks for me and I'm glad I got to try this color...so pretty and bold.

I can’t remember the last time I let myself sit still long enough to paint my nails at midnight. It feels nostalgic now almost sacred a quiet ritual that reconnects me to a slower time, when the world felt softer and the only thing that mattered was what music was dropping that week.
Born a 2 a.m. guitar-playing, hairbrush screaming, mirror dancing ’90s brat, I lived for the night. That nocturnal rhythm drove my parents crazy. This color pulls me back to those carefree, rebellious hours up until four, glued to music videos, Sipping Snapple from a glass bottle.
This color is the shade “Size Me Up,” paired with the brand’s topcoat. As far as the formula goes, the polish dried pretty quickly. The topcoat took a bit longer, but despite being labeled as a gel, it doesn’t require a UV light to activate.
I will say I did have some difficulty with the topcoat it is really what gives it that gel look however I found that it kind of slipped and slid off my nail a little bit it didn't go evenly on right away took some practice.
But either way I love the way this looked without the topcoat.
I think in the future I might not use the topcoat but I'm definitely looking forward to getting more colors from this line.
