I always do my nails at home and I was excited to try this nail polish from Essie, even I like it, the color is very pale and transparent, so if you are into a more natural nail style, this is a good one for it. The texture allows an easy application and fast drying.

Of the three colors this was the least favorite.

Wife wasn’t to big on this particular color. Definitely was her last choice when she used the three colors. It didn’t have much of a scent. And dry time wasn’t to long but still not her favorite one.

Wow! This jelly polishes dries faster than most Essie polishes and layers well. It’s super shiny before the topcoat and makes my skin look tan without being too pastey of a white. The brush size is just right for application and made it easy to keep my cuticles clean. I found that it wore for 7+ days. I’m excited to keep wearing this! You can see 1 coat on the left & 2 coats on the right side of my thumb for comparison of coverage.

Polish, the quality is great, it applies smoothly and dries down quickly , this color is very subtle and though and not a bold white color. You do have to apply about three layers or use it as base for another color on top.

The color is so light its hard to show in photos. It makes as a great topper to a color but not on its own. I prefer glitter on my nails so its a great top coat. I run my nails under cold water to dry them quickly. I have gotten a lot of compliments. The price is reasonable too.

Another great polish by Essie. I love the white milky color it has. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t have an overly thick texture. I find It takes a few layers to achieve the color i desire but is typical of polishes. This dries quickly and stays on for days without chipping.

This is an elegant neutral white shade with some depth because of the jelly texture so it looks sheer but not too sheer. It went on very smoothly and dried well without streaking. Love this shade and formula for a beautiful home manicure!

This arctic jelly is a milky white color. It is jelly like which is very different from other white colors. It can be worn on its own and gives nails a sheer white color or it can be applied as topcoat. I used it in combination with blush jelly and if you prefer pinkish finish you apply blush jelly on top and if you prefer a pale color finish you apply arctic jelly on the top. It is very similar to the very popular milky pink jelly nails which you can get from salons.

I absolutely love this polish, Essie is an incredible brand and they are my "go to" when looking for a new color. This doesnt have an overly strong scent like some polishes and its definitely worth the price. Applies smoothly and looks beautiful after application.

By itself, this nail polish did not work well for me. However, as a base under the pink special effects polish, it worked great! My nails are very dry and the polish looked streaky.

This is the most perfect milky white. I did 3 coats for more full coverage. You have to apply carefully because it can be streaky since it’s so sheer. The drying time isn’t bad at all.

The color is beautiful but it takes forever to dry. It took at least three applications to show up vibrant. It felt sticky for at least 12 hrs. This brand isn’t my favorite.

No matter what I do, this nail polish will not go on evenly and is streaky. I have applied this with one, two and three coats trying to eliminate streaks and it always streaks. I’m extremely unhappy with this product and feel like I wasted money. I would not recommend arctic jelly.

Arctic Jelly- great coverage but dries slow

First, I wanted to start with the positives.This is a great nail polish brand. It is easy to apply and i typically only need about two coats. It does last a while before it starts chipping. I was impressed with how well the white covered, other brands I have tried the white do not look as good.
The only negative:
-It dries very slow. I do not like sitting in one place too long and so I often create “blemishes” in it which I have to go over again. This would not be a good nail polish to use on kids or impatient adults like myself.
Overall, I do like this nail polish.

This polish didn’t glide on easily, like other polish brands I’ve used in the past. It took nearly 4 coats to look somewhat good. Since I had to lather on the layers, the polish ran off my nail and took forever to dry. I ended up removing the polish, shortly after it was applied.

The Essie nail polish I received came packaged well and all nail polish was intact. Love the simplicity of the bottles and easy to open to apply. The scent wasn’t too fragrant which I liked. The polishes were a little more shear than anticipated, but still beautiful once added more layers. Drying time was pretty on par for most nail polishes and doesn’t take any special application techniques . All in all, the polish was great to try and I’m sure I will try some of the shades again soon!

I love the “squishy” sheer formula. In 3 coats it builds up to an elegant, clean mani that quite literally looks like you just came from the salon. I’m usually an indie Polish girl but this might be a new all time favorite. I’m shocked at how much I love this.

It took me a few layers to achieve what I wanted, but better that than too thick of a layer. It might be my eyes, but the white is not a neutral white color... I feel like it has a tint to it. Works with my skin, but a heads up!
